At the WWDC 2024 event earlier this month, Apple stated that Apple Intelligence would be its first step into the world of artificial intelligence. Apple Intelligence adds a lot of cool new features, like a redesigned Siri interface that lets you hold talks for longer, a new look for the Photos app, the ability to make your own pictures and emoji, and the ability to connect to ChatGPT.
It’s not possible that most of the new AI features will come out this year. If they do, they’ll only be available on the iPhone 15 Pro and later models. This means that the new AI features will not be added to the newest iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus.
Reports say that Apple is working on a much more powerful chipset for the iPhone 16 series. All 4 models should be able to handle the new AI features. But because the regular iPhone 15 models aren’t on the list of devices that work with Apple Intelligence, many users aren’t sure if this was just a trick by Apple to get more attention and sales for the iPhone 16, or if the iPhone 15 Plus and older models can’t handle these complicated tasks.

On the other hand, Federighi faced the problem head-on and said, “Our first move is to figure out how we can bring features back as far as we can…” This much power models can run on an iPhone, which is pretty cool, but it took us a while to figure it out.
